Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.

The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. Typical hours are 9:30 AMโ€“9 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Scranton is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Scranton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Great little restaurant with friendly staff! The tables and chairs were the most unique Iโ€™ve seen awhile. I ordered a bbq Panini thinking and excepting pork to find out that is chicken. After talking with staff about my understanding is that is Scranton thing where bbq means bbq chicken. Iโ€™m not a chicken person so it was ok to me but Iโ€™m sure for the chicken lovers it would be fantastic. I would recommend and return to this restaurant again.

Laid back but interesting inside, we got the shrimp alfredo and a white chicken and bacon pizza. Took a bit longer than we had hoped BUT it was SO worth the wait, one of the absolute best Alfredoโ€™s either of us had ever had. The pizza was also great! Wish it werenโ€™t so far from home. Very friendly and attentive as well! Will def be back if in the area.

Some of the most delicious food Iโ€™ve had. Driving through and looked for a spot to take my family, so glad we decided to stop. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Smaller family owned, you can feel the love they put into their cooking. The marinara sauce is a must. I had the eggplant parm which was absolutely delicious. My husband had chicken parm and cleared his massive plate. Itโ€™s the sauce, you can tell itโ€™s made from scratch. Pizza my kids devoured. I havenโ€™t seen them eat this much. My oldest had Anthonyโ€™s Special Wrap, which he finished too. All in all it was wonderful and we highly recommend. As a family of 7 with kids age 5-14 everyone was happy, and left very full.

Everything was great & tasted fresh. The pasta, bread, salad, and breakfast platter, all fresh. Great quality food & filling portions. I was just surprised when I asked for pasta without meat & they up charged me saying the reason was because they have to add more pasta to the bowl to make up for the meat. Sounds absurd since me ordering without meat shouldโ€™ve been a lesser cost, especially since it usually comes with shrimp. Pasta is literally $1 per box, but I digress. I enjoyed everything still.

We had a very enjoyable lunch here. Food was excellent customer service was above and beyond. Very friendly restaurant hospitality. The dishes we more than a mouth full . We had to get to go containers they gave us so much. Wife got a salad and fresh bread with her dinner. We will be coming here again to try something else on there menu. We truly felt like a priority at this restaurant. The restaurant is a little small with probably 7 or 8 tables for seating but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying there great meals.
